Tria Beauty is the leader in light-based skin care products that deliver professional results from the comfort of your home. I am currently reviewing the Tria Hair Removal Laser, and I will be sharing my results and experience in this and future posts. I decided to participate because I’ve grown tired of battling ingrown hair after shaving, waxing or using an epilator.
Laser hair removal is a popular subject among all women and the Tria Hair Removal Laser is a great alternative to expensive in-clinic treatments. The product uses the same diode laser found in professional lasers and is convenient and easy to use. The plan is simple. Treat a test area of skin once every two weeks for at least 6 months. Tria Hair Removal Laser can be used on the underarms, bikini line, legs, arms, back, and stomach. Smaller areas like your underarms or bikini area take a few minutes and larger areas, like legs, can take 20-30 minutes.
I decided that my lower legs would be my target area. I selected a small area to do a patch test and when everything was clear 24 hours later, I was ready to get started my first full treatment. It took about 30 minutes, so I’d suggest treating while watching your favorite TV show. It’s an easy way to remember–just pick your favorite show and make it a part of your beauty routine.
Either glide or lift and place the laser tip along the skin. You only have to go over your established treatment area once during a session. When you have moved the Tria Hair Removal Laser over the entire established treatment area, you’re done. You’ll feel gentle pulses, and it’s definitely much less painful than your standard waxing.
Tria provides a rough guide to the results you might expect:
After your first treatment
No visible change to the hair or your skin.
After 2-3 months
Hair growth will appear lighter and finer.
After 6+ months
Follicles disabled by the Tria Laser will result in permanent.
